Lucid Bots is a U.S. AI robotics manufacturer building exterior cleaning drones and robotics for commercial and government customers. Since 2018, their fleet of 500+ robots has helped operators generate over $75M in revenue. In this Account Executive role, you will build pipeline from scratch and close it. You hunt, earn conversations, and own deals end-to-end, measured on closed-won revenue. You will execute Lucid's outbound motion: convert meetings into real pipeline early, then own a revenue target. This role is built for people who like hunting and scaling what works.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify through outbound channels (cold outreach, LinkedIn/social, referrals, events, targeted accounts)
- Own the full sales cycle from first touch through negotiation and close
- Test messaging and ICP targeting; share what works to sharpen the playbook
- Maintain CRM hygiene, forecasting, and deal progression
- Get curious about the product and what actually moves buyers
You will work directly with the founder of a fast-growing, venture-backed robotics startup, be part of a team solving real-world problems with frontier technology, and get a front-row seat to fundraising, company building, and startup strategy at scale. The company emphasizes learning and growth—described as a career accelerant where you can learn more in one year than most people do in five.
The role is based in Charlotte, NC with hybrid flexibility, though significant on-site presence is expected.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of B2B sales experience with a track record of self-generating pipeline (not just riding inbound)
- Consistent quota attainment or overachievement in a role where outbound was primary or required
- Fast qualification, ability to push deals forward, and willingness to walk away from noise
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to execute without a finished playbook
- Hardware, SaaS, industrial, or field-ops background is a plus
