You will join the Sales team as an Account Executive focused on Mid-Market and Enterprise segments in Japan, reporting to the Country Manager (Japan & Korea). This is a full sales-cycle role where you own prospecting, qualification, discovery, value matching, presentation, negotiation, and deal closure.
Key responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas by generating revenue from both inbound leads and outbound prospecting
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract signature
- Maintain accurate forecasts and comprehensive Salesforce records for management visibility
- Deliver consultative, value-based selling by deeply understanding prospect pain points and matching SimilarWeb solutions to their needs
- Build and cultivate new accounts to expand market share in Japan
You will work with a supportive sales organization, strong brand recognition, and a product that customers genuinely love. The role offers the opportunity to hit meaningful quotas in a fast-paced environment with clear growth potential.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of Mid-Market/Enterprise sales experience carrying a quota
- Native fluency in Japanese; business-level English proficiency
- Strong presentation skills with demonstrated experience presenting to clients and stakeholders in Japan
- Proven track record of hitting sales numbers in fast-paced environments
- Experience self-sourcing meetings in startup or high-growth settings
- Prior experience selling SaaS solutions in Data or Analytics industries
- Proficiency with Salesforce and familiarity with MEDDPICC sales methodology (advantageous)
- Ability to build and execute value-based sales strategies and processes
- Strong business acumen across multiple industries and comfort working with data
- Demonstrated resilience and learning from setbacks (missed quarters, lost deals)
