Wordsmith is a legal operations platform for in-house legal teams, backed by $100M in funding from Index Ventures, General Catalyst, Highland Europe, and others. The company serves over 500 customers including Financial Times, Safelite, Trip.com, Canva, Starling, and Sage. Wordsmith consolidates scattered legal work across inboxes, chats, and disconnected systems into a single platform where AI agents handle routine work while lawyers maintain control over judgment-critical decisions.
You will join as an Enterprise Account Executive for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), based in Munich or Berlin. This is a high-ownership sales role focused on closing complex, high-value deals with large organizations.
Key responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of strategic enterprise opportunities and build deal strategies across complex buying groups
- Navigate multiple stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Security, IT, and Procurement functions
- Develop internal champions and drive alignment within target accounts
- Lead extended sales cycles (6–12+ months) with clear structure and momentum
- Partner with Legal Engineers and Product teams on solution design
- Maintain accurate forecasting and deal visibility
The company operates as an in-office team with an expectation that you will be in the office or visiting clients as your default. You will have significant autonomy to run complex deals and are expected to navigate ambiguity, stay close to the work, and drive outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience closing complex enterprise SaaS deals
- Fluency in both German and English (required)
- Track record of landing and expanding high-value accounts
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions
- Ability to build champions and navigate internal organizational politics
- Structured, strategic approach to deal management
- High ownership and accountability for outcomes
