Plooto is a fintech platform helping accounting firms, bookkeepers, and SMB clients manage payments and cash flow. The company is transforming the payables and receivables space in North America with strong product-market fit and backing from experienced fintech leaders.
As an Account Executive on the Channel Sales team, you will own the full sales cycle with accounting and bookkeeping firms across Canada. You will source pipeline from inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and industry events. Your responsibilities include:
• Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close for accounting and bookkeeping firm partners and their SMB clients
• Manage inbound leads, qualify opportunities, and run outbound prospecting to build your pipeline
• Source and convert new business from industry events, conferences, and accounting community gatherings across Ontario and Canada
• Deliver in-person and virtual product demos that articulate Plooto's value to firms and their clients
• Travel regularly within your territory (Ontario-based) to meet prospects and partners face to face
• Guide new firm partners through onboarding and drive client adoption to maximize activation
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, forecast with precision, and exceed revenue targets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, and Partnerships teams
• Contribute to team culture and embody Plooto's values
You will be a full-cycle closer, equally comfortable managing a fast-moving pipeline and building trust face to face in boardrooms and at industry events.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS environment, with deals sourced across inbound, outbound, and event/conference channels
• Field sales experience: confident and effective running in-person meetings, not only virtual ones
• Based in Canada, Ontario preferred, with ability to travel regularly within territory
• Strong experience managing pipeline and opportunities in Salesforce with precision forecasting
• Confident and engaging in booking and delivering product demos to accounting and bookkeeping audiences
• Experience closing high-velocity deals while managing multiple priorities
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
• High level of accountability, curiosity, and adaptability
NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience selling to or partnering with accounting or bookkeeping firms, or background in accounting/fintech ecosystem
• Experience in channel or partner sales motion, not only direct sales
• Familiarity with AP/AR automation, payments, or SaaS for SMBs
• Existing network within Canadian accounting or bookkeeping community
