Canva is seeking an experienced Account Executive to own the Public Sector & Healthcare lifecycle for the Canadian market. This is a strategic sales role focused on driving growth within government and healthcare institutions while working alongside Customer Success Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own strategy, planning, execution, and results for identified government and healthcare accounts in Canada
- Onboard accounts and provide strategic sales support to ensure successful Canva deployment across multiple departments
- Build and foster relationships within your account base, treating your book of business as your own
- Establish close relationships with Public Sector & Healthcare users to understand their needs and drive adoption
- Utilize data analysis to identify trends and usage patterns that inform product and marketing plans
- Drive retention and engagement through continuous testing, learning, and iteration on lifecycle strategy
- Run a healthy and predictable business that delivers jointly agreed customer transformation strategies
Canva's Public Sector Consultant team supports organizations at scale, including Education Institutions, Governments, Healthcare, and Not-for-Profits. The team works with diverse departments (Communications, Marketing, Sales, HR) to help institutions move away from outdated systems and time-consuming design processes.

Requirements:
- 3+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive with a strong track record of closing complex deals and driving revenue growth in large organizations
- Professional experience selling into or managing the Canadian market (direct Canadian/US-Canada territory ownership or tenure at Canadian-headquartered company)
- Comfortable navigating Canadian buyer landscape nuances alongside broader US sales motion
- Excellent collaboration skills working with direct team and cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of how government and/or healthcare institutions roll out new technology and conduct institution-wide deployments
- Strong communication skills that create clarity and tell compelling stories to customers
- Strong business planning skills with ability to move from planning through implementation
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
- Bonus: experience with Public Sector or Healthcare clients
