As an Account Executive based in the London office, you will be responsible for securing new business across the UK and Ireland mid-market segment. You will independently source, manage, and close deals while working closely with the sales and business development team. Your responsibilities include managing opportunities in CRM to forecast revenue and hit quarterly/annual targets, engaging with leads and prospects via in-person meetings and video calls, serving as a product ambassador who can clearly articulate Vertice's value proposition, collaborating with partners to drive new business, communicating field feedback to the Product team, attending industry events and networking opportunities, and adapting quickly to a fast-moving environment. You will be the primary point of contact for prospects and customers, building strong relationships and trust while handling inquiries and negotiations tactfully. Success in this role requires a deal-closing mindset, consistent track record of hitting and exceeding targets, and the ability to quickly establish rapport with a diverse set of decision-makers. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years of experience in an Account Executive role selling SaaS products - Demonstrated deal-closing mindset with a track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets - Strong relationship and rapport-building skills with ability to deliver outstanding service and gain trust - Tenacious and resilient approach; willingness to roll up sleeves and do what it takes to achieve results - Tech-savvy with strong customer service orientation, professionalism, resourcefulness, and ability to handle inquiries and negotiations tactfully - Comfortable with moderately complex software concepts and ability to discuss them confidently - Humility, kindness, and respect in working with others - Eagerness to commit to an ambitious plan and co-create a meaningful company culture - Legal ability to work in the UK/Ireland region
