PhotoRoom is an AI-powered visual solution for e-commerce, founded in 2019 and part of Y Combinator's 2020 cohort. The company has raised Series B funding, reached 300+ million users worldwide, and processes over 5 billion images annually. PhotoRoom serves both small businesses and major enterprises (Amazon, DoorDash, Decathlon) through mobile apps, web platforms, and APIs. The company is profitable, growing 40%+ year-over-year, and has 130+ employees.
You will join the midmarket sales team as an Account Executive, owning the full sales cycle across PhotoRoom's API and web app offerings. This is a builder role—the Enterprise motion is still being constructed, with playbooks evolving and new segments being unlocked. You will help shape how PhotoRoom sells.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end: discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close, primarily on deals handed off from BDR or marketing
- Continuously build your own pipeline to supplement inbound opportunities
- Apply structured sales methodology (MEDDPICC) to qualify and progress opportunities, including in segments where playbooks are still developing
- Work closely with BDR, Marketing, Product, and ML teams to identify customer needs and feed insights back into the business
- Contribute to team methodology and process—help build missing elements
- Travel to meet strategic accounts (typically >$500k ARR) when needed
- Track and manage all activity accurately in HubSpot
Location: New York (Chelsea), 3 days/week in-office. Compensation: Competitive base + variable (50/50 split) + stock options/BSPCE.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in enterprise B2B sales with quota ownership of $700k+ and a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets
- Proven experience selling in environments where the playbook wasn't fully written; ability to close deals on outbound leads
- Strong command of structured sales methodology (MEDDPICC or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to find, create, and develop your own pipeline opportunities, not just work inbound
- Consultative approach: ask good questions, understand technical products, simplify complex concepts for any audience
- Comfortable traveling to meet customers and stakeholders
- Based in Paris or New York, available in-office 3 days/week
Nice to have:
- Experience selling APIs or developer-facing products
- Familiarity with AI/ML or GenAI landscape
- Additional languages beyond English
