DragonflyDB is an in-memory data store designed as a drop-in replacement for existing solutions, delivering high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency for low-latency, high-throughput applications. The company has grown to over 29,000 GitHub stars since its release three years ago under a source-available license, and recently launched a Cloud offering that is gaining adoption among engineering teams.
You will own the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach through deal close, crafting each step of the customer journey. This role involves navigating and leading complex technical sales cycles with engineers, architects, and executive stakeholders. You'll build credibility with both technical champions and business buyers, effectively translating technical value propositions. You are expected to generate and qualify pipeline independently, not just closing deals but proactively sourcing opportunities. You'll partner closely with founders and executives, providing market feedback on product, pricing, messaging, and prioritization based on recurring customer insights.
This is an opportunity to work directly with the VP of Sales to help build the foundation of a repeatable sales process. You'll have real influence over how the company qualifies, sells, and wins deals, and will help define the playbook that future sales representatives will follow.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven success in technical B2B SaaS sales, especially in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Consistent track record of closing 6-figure deals
- Demonstrated ability to build your own pipeline through cold outreach, networking, or creative channel development
- Exceptional credibility and rapport with technical decision-makers; ability to translate value into technical benefits and vice versa
- Strong strategic thinking and clarity of communication, both written and verbal
