Koltin is Mexico's first health membership platform dedicated to adults aged 50–84, combining preventive clinical care, major medical expense coverage, and wellness programs. The company is scaling rapidly across Mexico with a mission to make healthcare for seniors more human, accessible, and dignified.
We seek a Senior Legal Counsel with 6–8 years of experience to serve as the primary legal point of contact across all company functions. You will manage the full spectrum of corporate and administrative legal work, from day-to-day compliance to strategic regulatory navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and operational legal documents
• Prepare and manage corporate governance documents (assembly minutes, powers of attorney, bylaws) and notarial filings
• Oversee regulatory compliance with Cofepris (Mexico's health authority) and other sector regulators
• Support immigration matters for foreign employees and executives
• Identify, prevent, and resolve legal disputes; coordinate with external counsel as needed
• Provide cross-functional legal advisory to Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, and HR teams
• Ensure data privacy and patient/user data protection compliance
• Leverage AI tools to streamline document review and drafting
Ideal Candidate:
• Proven track record in corporate and administrative law, ideally having led a complete legal function or internal legal team
• Hands-on experience with Cofepris, notarial procedures (corporate formation, amendments, powers), and immigration compliance
• Prior experience in healthcare and/or insurance sectors is highly valued
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple legal priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communicator who translates complex legal concepts into practical business decisions for non-legal stakeholders
• Proficient with AI tools for legal research, document review, and drafting
