Innovaccer is seeking a Lead for Data Exchange and Interoperability to manage a team focused on healthcare data integration and system connectivity. In this role, you will work directly with major US healthcare organizations and IT vendors to design, deploy, and maintain data interoperability solutions across diverse healthcare systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a high-performing team responsible for data exchange and interoperability initiatives
- Overseeing solution deployments on healthcare provider systems and testing data connectivity
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with US healthcare organizations and IT vendors
- Leading vendor negotiations for partnerships and third-party integrations
- Driving strategic data acquisition initiatives for key customers
- Coordinating technical and business meetings between internal teams and customers
- Monitoring team performance, project progress, and financial impact on overall delivery
- Conducting research on healthcare data systems and emerging technologies
- Attending industry conferences and vendor webinars to stay current with healthcare data standards and technologies
- Ensuring adherence to established processes and timely project delivery
You will engage with complex healthcare IT ecosystems, including EMRs, practice management systems, lab systems, and payers, while working across multiple time zones with US-based clients.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in high-growth tech product companies
- Proven experience working with US clients in customer-facing roles
- Strong understanding of US healthcare business models (ACOs, CINs, HMOs, Payers, HIEs, MSOs)
- Hands-on experience with US healthcare data systems (EMRs, PM systems, lab systems, PBMs)
- Knowledge of healthcare data formats (CCDA, X12, HL7, FHIR) and exchange methodologies (SFTP, APIs, TCP, Snowflake, IHE)
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple accounts with time-bound task execution
- Proficiency with project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent)
- Comfort working across multiple time zones
- Demonstrated success in increasing team visibility and performance
- Engineering degree or other technical qualification preferred
