As a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer III at Innovaccer, you will deploy and operate the company's services on OpenShift in customer data centers through a fully GitOps-driven delivery model. This is high-throughput platform work focused on bringing hundreds of services into new environments and ensuring operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deploy services to OpenShift via ArgoCD, authoring and maintaining Helm values overlays, application manifests, and environment-specific configurations
- Re-point CI pipelines, service endpoints, and credentials from cloud targets to on-premise equivalents at scale, following dependency-ordered rollout plans
- Operate the shared platform layer including operator-managed data stores, KEDA autoscaling, ingress gateways, and secrets management via Vault and External Secrets
- Execute per-service validation through health checks, smoke tests, and functional verification, feeding results into rollout trackers
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts; contribute to runbooks for steady-state operations
- Troubleshoot deployment, networking, and configuration issues across namespaces in default-deny network models
Required qualifications:
- B.E., B.Tech., or M.Sc. in Computer Science or related technical field
- 6+ years of platform, DevOps, or SRE experience with production Kubernetes (OpenShift experience strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Helm and GitOps tooling (ArgoCD preferred)
- Working knowledge of CI systems (GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or equivalent) and container registries
- Solid scripting ability in Python, Bash, or Go
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana) and log aggregation
Preferred qualifications include HashiCorp Vault, secrets management, certificate handling, and experience in regulated or restricted-network environments.
