Vensure Employer Solutions, the largest privately held HR technology and services organization, is seeking a Business Consultant to drive new business development and sales of Solvo products and services across a designated territory in Australia. You will be responsible for prospecting, selling, and managing accounts for HR/HCM technology, managed services, and business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions to mid-market and enterprise organizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively generating new business opportunities and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Developing and executing short and long-term sales strategies to increase sales volume and profit margins
- Managing the full sales cycle: lead generation, CRM tracking (Salesforce), proposal preparation, and closing
- Building and maintaining client relationships; overseeing renewal proposals and processes for existing accounts
- Preparing executive summaries and presentations for key stakeholders
- Staying current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and company products/services
- Participating in monthly consulting meetings, providing coaching to team members, and attending training
- Traveling domestically and occasionally internationally for team meetings, customer events, and industry conferences
- Cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure effective service delivery
You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities and clients. The role requires strong negotiation and closing skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and sound business judgment in complex situations. You'll use Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools daily, and must maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professional conduct.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training)
- At least 2 years of progressive sales experience with payroll, HCM, PEO, or BPO B2B intangible sales
- Experience and proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid, non-restrictive driver's license (required for regular travel to client sites)
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally on occasion
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
