Helsing is a defence AI company focused on protecting democracies through technological leadership. As Workplace Planning Lead, you will be the first global planning layer within the Workplace team, shaping how the company's office footprint evolves across Munich, Berlin, and wider European sites.
You will translate headcount growth plans into practical seating, space, and capacity models. Your responsibilities include building seat and space planning models that align offices with headcount growth; forecasting workplace demand across all sites and setting workplace standards and seating strategies; shaping real estate decisions on lease renewals, expansions, and consolidations by providing occupancy data and capacity insights; planning and delivering new office openings, relocations, fit-outs, and closures with minimal disruption; and creating occupancy dashboards and planning models that give leadership visibility into space utilization and efficiency opportunities.
You will work across multiple locations and partner with Workplace Managers, Real Estate colleagues, and senior stakeholders. You will also define the standards, data, and ways of working that the function will scale with over coming years.
Helsing operates in a mission-driven environment where you'll contribute directly to protecting democratic countries while balancing ethical and geopolitical concerns. The company values healthy debate, responsible autonomy, critical thinking, and outcome-focused work over conformity.
