Divergent 3D is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Print Supervisor to lead daily operations of a growing fleet of Monolith LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) additive manufacturing systems. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-reliability, procedure-driven environment serving aerospace and defense customers. You will own print operations with accountability for safety, quality, throughput, and delivery. Key responsibilities include executing build plates in accordance with established procedures and specifications, establishing objective performance metrics to drive continuous improvement, and identifying operational risks and scheduling constraints before they impact production commitments. You will build and lead a high-performance team of additive manufacturing technicians. This includes hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members; establishing rigorous training and qualification standards aligned with aerospace and defense requirements; building technical depth and bench strength; and developing future technician leads and frontline leaders through structured coaching. You will drive process rigor by establishing and reinforcing standardized work, procedures, audits, and documentation systems; ensuring consistent execution across shifts, technicians, and equipment; and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to meet aggressive program timelines while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires someone who thrives in procedure-driven environments, knows how to build teams, enforce standards, solve complex problems, and drive continuous improvement in a mission-critical manufacturing setting. REQUIREMENTS: The posting does not explicitly state years of experience, education level, or specific certifications required. However, the role emphasizes the need for: experience in high-reliability manufacturing or aerospace/defense environments; demonstrated leadership and team-building capability; deep knowledge of additive manufacturing processes (LPBF preferred); familiarity with aerospace and defense quality standards and procedures; and strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
