Scale is seeking a senior Workplace Operations Manager to lead on-site operations, projects, and vendor performance across EMEA and MENA regions. This is a regional leadership role accountable for the physical environment where Scale employees work, including real estate portfolio management, facilities, vendor relationships, and day-to-day service delivery. Key responsibilities include: - Running on-site operations across all EMEA and Middle East offices, owning service delivery, facilities, life safety, and workplace experience - Managing the vendor base in the region: selecting, onboarding, and holding FM, security, food & beverage, and AV vendors accountable - Delivering capital projects end-to-end, managing design, contractors, budget, schedule, and handover - Tracking the regional real estate portfolio including lease dates, renewal/break notices, landlord obligations, and service contract expiries - Serving as the escalation point for country leads and local stakeholders during regional business hours - Partnering with country and functional leadership on compliance and security requirements - Building and managing regional operating and capital budgets, forecasting space needs against headcount growth, and implementing Scale's global workplace standards Required qualifications: - 6+ years in workplace operations, corporate real estate, or facilities management with direct ownership of multi-site operations - Demonstrated delivery of at least one office stand-up or major build-out from the ground up - Hands-on project delivery experience in the UK and ideally the Middle East, with understanding of landlord, fit-out, permitting, and vendor dynamics in Gulf markets - Lease fluency and ability to identify key dates and obligations - Real vendor and commercial management depth, including contract scoping, negotiation, and vendor performance management - Comfort operating independently as the most senior workplace person, forming recommendations on space, spend, and sequencing - Prior experience at a high-growth technology company scaling internationally - Preferred: regional language capability and/or hands-on work experience in the GCC
