Runway is seeking a Workplace Lead to own and operate the company's global office portfolio. The role encompasses real estate strategy, facilities management, and workplace experience across current locations in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv, with expansion planned.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily office operations: cleaning, repairs, food service, supplies, access control, health and safety compliance
- Ownership of workplace budget and financial reporting (rent, capex, operating expenses)
- Programming and events: all-hands meetings, offsites, team events, screenings, partner and press visits
- Space planning: forecasting office needs by city and timeline in collaboration with People and Finance teams
- Real estate acquisition: managing site selection, lease negotiations with brokers, Legal, and Finance
- Construction and design: overseeing buildouts, furniture projects, and move-in timelines
- Infrastructure coordination: working with IT and Security on network, AV systems, and physical access
- Vendor and compliance setup in new markets
- Occasional travel to offices for openings and major events
- Setting and maintaining workplace standards across all locations

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years in corporate real estate, facilities, or workplace operations
- Deep project management experience with construction schedules, permitting, and logistics
- Hands-on lease and vendor contract negotiation experience with personal budget accountability
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with Finance, People, IT, and Security teams
- Demonstrated experience taking at least one office from site selection through opening day
- International real estate, employment, or compliance experience (preferred)
- Ability to write process documentation, service standards, and vendor scorecards
- Accountability for managing offices across multiple geographies
