Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform serving over 4,700 customers including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square, is seeking a UK Workplace Lead to manage its London office and drive consistency across EMEA operations. In this role, you will own daily facilities operations for the UK office and provide strategic oversight across Amplitude's three EMEA office locations. You will be the primary point of contact for all workplace-related matters, working closely with the Workplace Coordinator in Amsterdam, the global Head of Workplace, the SVP of International, and cross-functional partners in People, IT, and Finance. Key responsibilities include: **Office Operations & Facilities:** Manage daily facilities operations including proactive walkthroughs, liaison with property management on maintenance and service requests, tracking and escalating work orders, managing supply inventory for office and kitchen areas, coordinating desk moves and space reconfigurations, and maintaining conference rooms and common areas to brand standards. **Vendor & Budget Management:** Manage vendor relationships and service agreements (janitorial, catering, plants, repairs), process invoices and purchase orders with Finance, track workplace spend against budget, and source competitive bids for services and projects. **Employee Experience & Events:** Run in-office programming on hybrid days including snacks, team lunches, and happy hours. Support logistics for all-hands meetings, team off-sites, celebrations, and gatherings. Coordinate space setup for executive, customer, and board visits. Contribute to culture and engagement initiatives. **Onboarding Support:** Coordinate new hire Day 1 logistics including desk assignment, workstation setup, office orientation, and partner with IT on equipment staging. **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Partner with People, IT, and Finance on office projects. Serve as escalation point for employee questions. Maintain workplace documentation and run-books. **Safety & Emergency Preparedness:** Support emergency preparedness protocols, evacuation planning, and floor warden coordination. Coordinate with building management on safety inspections and fire drills. Escalate workplace violence prevention and incident logging to appropriate teams. **Requirements:** - 2+ years in office coordination, workplace operations, facilities, hospitality, or administrative operations - Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - Clear, warm written and verbal communication across all organizational levels - Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack; comfort using AI tools such as Claude - Experience managing vendors and processing invoices or purchase orders - Sound judgment in ambiguous situations with bias toward action - Composed and professional under pressure on high-traffic office days **Nice to have:** - Experience at a high-growth technology company - Familiarity with workplace platforms such as Envoy or Bluebeam - Event coordination experience - Experience supporting new hire onboarding logistics
