DePuy Synthes (Johnson & Johnson's orthopedics business, planned to separate into a standalone company within 18–24 months) is hiring a Workforce Management Analyst for a hybrid role based in Raynham, MA. Alternate hybrid locations are available in Raritan, NJ; West Chester, PA; or Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
In this role, you will provide data-driven insights, forecasts, and performance reporting to enable efficient workforce planning and operational execution. You will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and functional leaders to ensure staffing models, capacity plans, and productivity assumptions align with business demand. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency, service levels, and decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing workforce demand, capacity, and productivity data to support short- and long-term planning activities
- Developing and maintaining workforce models, forecasts, and staffing scenarios aligned with business needs
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to labor utilization, efficiency, and service levels
- Preparing regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and insights for business partners and leadership
- Identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities related to workforce performance and resourcing
- Partnering cross-functionally with operations, finance, HR, and planning teams to support decision-making
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating process effectiveness and data accuracy
- Ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and reporting standards
Travel is minimal (≤10%), primarily domestic.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Operations, Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Typically 2–4 years of relevant work experience in workforce management, analytics, operations planning, or a related analytical role
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, reporting platforms, or workforce planning systems)
- Experience preparing clear, actionable reports and presentations for business stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- English language proficiency required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or MedTech environment
- Familiarity with workforce planning, capacity modeling, or labor optimization methodologies
- Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools
- Exposure to continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives
- Workforce planning, analytics, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
