Hims & Hers, a leading health and wellness platform and NYSE-traded public company, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations at its New Albany, Ohio fulfillment center. This is a night-shift role focused on managing multiple growing shifts and building operations from the ground up.
You will provide leadership and guidance across all warehouse functional areas, including order handling, wave management, shipping of pharmaceutical and over-the-counter products, and material handling. You will lead a team of area managers and warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through mentorship and training. Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating deep knowledge of fulfillment systems and their capabilities and constraints
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure your team has necessary tools and resources
- Establishing coordination and information sharing across internal warehouse departments and external partners
- Creating and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment (FDA, OSHA standards)
- Expanding operations across multiple shifts while maintaining company culture
- Safeguarding warehouse operations through security procedures and protocols
- Managing warehouse inventory processes including reconciliation, loss prevention, and control
- Implementing and maintaining Quality Assurance/Control policies
- Seeking continuous improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost control
- Submitting accurate reports, attending meetings, and driving company OKRs and KPIs
This role involves working with hazardous drugs and requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, respiratory protection, gown, and other items as required. Medical approval to wear respiratory protection is mandatory. Physical exertion is significant: walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100%, squatting/bending up to 20%, and lifting up to 80% of shifts (up to 50 lbs). The position requires understanding potential reproductive risks associated with handling hazardous drugs.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environments
- 7+ years in a supervisory/management role
- 2+ years of OSHA safety experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience leading technically complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train and manage others
- Demonstrated ability to work within WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Six Sigma/Lean Principles experience
- Proficient knowledge of personal computers and applications (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Gmail, WMS/WCS systems)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills with proven judgment and execution ability
