Salary: USD 240,120 - 315,157 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking a Vice President of Network Management to lead strategic contracting, development, and management of provider networks across Texas, Central, and West markets. This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of contracts that ensure a robust, cost-effective, and comprehensive provider network meeting member needs.
Key responsibilities include leading execution of short- and long-term strategic plans for provider network growth and optimization; developing strategies to enhance network adequacy, access, and member experience across multiple markets; overseeing provider contracting strategy including value-based and fee-for-service models; building and maintaining strong relationships with health system leaders and hospital executives; negotiating and managing high-value, complex contracts; monitoring and analyzing network performance metrics (cost, utilization, quality, member satisfaction); executing initiatives to enhance provider network performance and member access; ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards; staying current with regulatory changes and industry best practices; collaborating with compliance and legal teams to mitigate risks; and leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing network management team.
The role reports to the SVP of Network & Provider Management. Candidates should have 15+ years of progressive experience in network management, provider relations, or health plan operations; 10+ years of leadership experience; 10+ years in provider contracting, negotiations, and building provider relationships; and 8+ years managing large provider networks within a health insurance or managed care setting. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wisconsin. A hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office per week may be required depending on metro area.
