Ambiq is a fabless semiconductor company on a mission to enable intelligence everywhere by powering the AI edge revolution with the world's lowest-power semiconductor solutions. Built on proprietary sub- and near-threshold technology, Ambiq has shipped over 300 million units since 2010 to customers building smarter wearables, medical devices, IoT products, and AI-powered edge applications. The company operates globally across Austin, Hsinchu, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore. We are seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to lead and transform our global IT and Cybersecurity function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the primary architect of our technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, and digital strategy, enabling the company to scale efficiently as we grow our footprint in the global fabless semiconductor market. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for a strategic thinker equally comfortable setting long-term IT vision and driving execution. You will own IT operations end-to-end across all global sites: from integration of AI productivity tools to infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity, ERP modernization, and vendor partnerships. Key responsibilities include defining and executing a global IT roadmap; leading digital transformation initiatives that drive operational efficiency and reduce costs; overseeing the design, deployment, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user computing; establishing and enforcing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy with compliance to industry standards; owning the lifecycle of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, PLM, collaboration platforms); ensuring SOX IT General Controls are designed and operating effectively; and recruiting, developing, and mentoring a high-performing IT team. You will have a direct seat at the executive table with board-level exposure and strategic influence. This role offers the opportunity to architect IT infrastructure for a scaling, innovation-driven company at an exciting inflection point, with the chance to build and modernize IT from the ground up.
