Hims & Hers, a NYSE-traded health and wellness platform, is seeking a Vice President of Engineering & Facilities to lead the design and scaling of engineering systems, infrastructure, and technical capabilities across its compounding and pharmacy fulfillment network.
In this strategic and hands-on leadership role, you will own the end-to-end engineering ecosystem spanning facility design, cleanrooms, utilities, automation, manufacturing systems, and material flow from compounding through dispensing, packaging, and delivery. You will serve as the senior-most engineering partner to Pharmacy, Operations, and Quality leadership, translating GMP and USP regulatory requirements into practical facility and system designs.
Key responsibilities include defining enterprise engineering strategy and scalable operating models; leading facility design, expansion, and commissioning of regulated manufacturing and pharmacy facilities; owning capital investment planning for programs exceeding $100M; ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA, and USP standards; and driving operational excellence through system design, automation, and continuous improvement. You will provide technical oversight of architects, engineering firms, contractors, and vendors while establishing governance and execution rigor for capital projects.
You will build and lead a multi-disciplinary engineering organization across a multi-site network, including Industrial Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Device Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams. This role requires strong engineering judgment, executive leadership experience in regulated environments, and the ability to quickly establish credibility across functions while balancing compliance, speed, operational performance, and business growth.
Success in this position is critical to enabling the next phase of manufacturing and fulfillment expansion, including new facility builds, cleanroom environments, production lines, utility systems, equipment installations, and automation investments.
