OpenLoop is a telehealth platform that powers virtual care delivery across all 50 states, partnering with companies to offer meaningful patient support across multiple specialties. The Vice President, Clinical leads the clinical quality and operations of OpenLoop's multidisciplinary provider group, ensuring consistent standards of care as the organization scales across disciplines and service lines.
In this role, you will manage and lead a growing team of healthcare providers (NPs, MDs, DOs), supervise clinicians to ensure effective patient service delivery, and spearhead clinical productivity initiatives alongside other clinical leadership. You'll establish 1:1s with providers, develop and manage clinical protocols, and work with quality and enablement teams to maintain high standards of care. Key responsibilities include identifying process improvements, optimizing day-to-day operations through policy creation and quality measures, assessing performance improvements, and providing clinical leadership that fosters collaboration and excellence. You'll communicate expectations clearly, motivate individuals, and demonstrate positive leadership that supports teamwork. When needed, you may provide direct patient care via telemedicine across licensed states.

REQUIREMENTS:
- M.D. or D.O. with active unrestricted medical license in 5-10 US states
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine (required); Obesity Medicine certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of management experience with medical providers in a US health system within the past 5 years, or recent relevant equivalent experience
- Prior experience leading clinical teams, preferably with educational and/or strategic planning experience
- Prior experience in virtual care and clinical protocol development for virtual care guidance
- Prior experience in medical weight loss (required); experience in testosterone replacement therapy, hormone replacement therapy, functional/longevity/peptide medicine, remote patient monitoring, and chronic care management preferred
- Prior experience in virtual clinical operations
- Proficiency with Google Suite, virtual communication platforms, and AI
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Team player mentality with ability to pivot quickly in a startup environment
