Join Apple's Design Verification team as a Virtual Prototyping Specialist focused on RF embedded systems. You will design and develop virtual prototype models and platforms for Apple's RF-embedded systems, enabling pre-silicon firmware and software development and system verification before silicon availability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify modeling requirements in collaboration with system engineering and firmware/software development teams across multiple locations
- Design and develop virtual prototype platforms and models for RF-embedded systems
- Optimize models for performance and memory footprint
- Support firmware and software teams during bring-up phases across different locations
- Work with stakeholders to ensure virtual prototypes meet pre-silicon development and verification needs
Your work will directly impact how millions of Apple customers use their devices, contributing to the design of next-generation groundbreaking Apple products.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in C/C++ programming with years of hands-on experience in object-oriented programming concepts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural, cross-functional team environments
- Proficient English language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience with SystemC programming, transaction-level modeling (TLM), and simulator concepts
- Hands-on experience in cellular modem and digital signal processing areas
