The Nuclear Company is a Series A-funded AI-enabled startup pioneering next-generation nuclear reactor development through a design-once, build-many model. The Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain will lead the organization's procurement and supply chain functions for mega critical infrastructure projects, reporting directly to the President & Chief Nuclear Officer.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic procurement plans aligned with industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives. The role oversees all supply chain operations including sourcing, logistics, inventory management, quality assurance, and distribution. The VP will establish and maintain strategic relationships with global supply partners, ensure quality standards are consistently met, and optimize supply chain processes to drive operational excellence and cost savings.
The successful candidate will implement sourcing strategies that support the company's rapid scaling, manage resources efficiently, and contribute to the organization's mission of accelerating safe, reliable, and affordable nuclear energy deployment. The role operates within the company's AI-first culture, where every team member is expected to leverage AI, technology, and the Nuclear Operating System (NOS) to improve quality, speed, and impact. The VP will identify opportunities to automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and improve processes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accountability.
