This dual-function role bridges vendor management and internal resource planning. You will source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with external vendors and contractors while partnering with Workforce Management, Call Operations, and QA/QC leadership to forecast, allocate, and optimize internal talent.
Vendor Management responsibilities include identifying and onboarding third-party vendors aligned with strategic goals; leading contract negotiations on pricing, terms, and SLAs; establishing KPIs to track vendor performance and quality; serving as primary contact for external partners with regular business reviews and escalation management; ensuring HIPAA and healthcare compliance; and supporting customer launches by aligning vendor resources with training and operational readiness.
Resource Management responsibilities include collaborating with operations leadership to translate forecasts into cross-skilling and support plans; assigning internal and external personnel to projects based on skills and priority; monitoring utilization rates and identifying bottlenecks; and partnering with HR to identify skill gaps and advise on the optimal mix of full-time versus contractor resources.
You will need strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making, excellent cross-functional communication, proactive problem-solving, and proficiency with PM tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Workday, SAP, Asana) and standard office software. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field, plus 5+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, resource management, or workforce planning, ideally in a Patient Access Hub or similar healthcare operations environment.
