Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. The company's Data Center Capacity Delivery team manages the rapid buildout of data center infrastructure needed to train and serve frontier AI models—taking leased and partnered sites from deal close through operational handover as quickly as safely possible. As Regional Manager, you will own delivery across a regional portfolio of active and upcoming data center projects. You will build and lead a team of Senior Delivery Managers and third-party partners embedded on those sites, set execution standards, and serve as the executive-level interface to developer partners and the intake point for projects from the transaction team. Key responsibilities include: - Lead the region's sites to shape culture, approach, and execution aggressiveness across the portfolio - Hire, develop, and empower Senior Delivery Managers; raise skillsets of developers, contractors, and owner's-rep partners - Own portfolio execution—schedule, quality, and safety outcomes measured against early-floor-access and floor-access milestones - Select, scope, contract, and manage owner's-rep and project-management partners; replace underperformers - Set and enforce delivery standards (integrated schedule, quality, change control, reporting, tools) across all projects - Identify and clear blockers across developer, GC, and trade layers; step in on site where needed - Provide executive reporting on progress vs. plan and regional capacity projections You will work daily with transaction, design engineering, facility operations, commissioning, deployment, and safety teams, as well as with developers, general contractors, and owner's-representative firms on the ground. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring leadership presence on sites most of the time. Ideal candidates have 10+ years delivering data center or mission-critical construction, including several years as owner's or GC senior leader on a project campus. You've led multi-project portfolios, understand end-to-end development (entitlements, design, long-lead equipment, construction, commissioning, handover), and have managed developer/GC relationships at the executive level. You lead through presence, communicate clearly with technical and non-specialist audiences, and can move partners from arm's-length contract administration to shared urgency.
