Lab37 Robotics is a technology company developing and deploying robots for direct-to-customer food production. The Triage & Applications Specialist serves as a critical first-line technical responder and system super user, diagnosing and resolving user and operator issues with Lab37's robotic systems in the field. Key responsibilities include: serving as first-line technical support for fielded systems with alternating on-call coverage (up to 24 hours per day); triaging incoming issues by gathering context, identifying severity, reproducing problems, and documenting findings; developing deep expertise in Lab37's robotic systems, user interfaces, workflows, and common failure modes; coordinating with remote teams (engineering, operations, manufacturing, field services, customer support) to restore systems quickly and safely; and providing backup field services support including deployments, troubleshooting, system checkout, and onsite customer/operator assistance. Travel is expected but generally less than 10 days per month, with occasional exceptions based on business needs. The role requires comfort with remote troubleshooting, navigating complex technical interfaces, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ideal candidates have experience supporting or troubleshooting complex technical systems (robotics, automation, hardware/software products, industrial equipment, or remote systems), strong ability to understand system dashboards and operational workflows, excellent communication skills for translating technical issues, and calm judgment under pressure. Spanish language proficiency and background in applications engineering, technical support, field support, systems operations, or customer-facing engineering are preferred.
