As a Trading Operations Associate, you will provide high-quality support to enterprise-level clients, addressing issues related to order entry, execution, best execution, trade surveillance, and high-touch order handling. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with clients while proactively monitoring trading activity to ensure smooth operations.
Key responsibilities include delivering customer support through multiple channels (phone, email, chat), investigating and resolving issues related to account management, order processing, FIX sessions, and OMS functionality. You'll monitor client accounts for anomalies, provide timely alerts, and stay informed on market developments to offer relevant guidance. You'll also monitor corporate actions including dividends, stock splits, and mergers, ensuring accurate communication and resolution.
Collaboration is central to the role—you'll work closely with trading desks, operations, IT, and compliance teams to resolve client issues efficiently. You'll collect client feedback and share insights with product and management teams to refine services and tools. Compliance and risk management are critical: you must ensure all client interactions and trading activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, while proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field, plus 2-3 years of experience in brokerage operations, trading, or related fields. You must have proven experience in customer support, relationship management, and trading services, with demonstrated familiarity with trading platforms, equities trading, and FIX protocol. FINRA Series 7 or 63 certification (or local equivalent) is required, with willingness to obtain within the first 6 months if not already held. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent English proficiency and ideally fluency in French, German, or Arabic.
