The Trading Operations Associate will join the 100% remote trading operations team, reporting to the Director of Crypto Operations. This role focuses on risk management, client relations, and trading execution within the crypto operations space.
Key responsibilities include: daily surveillance of customer activity and operational tasks; cryptocurrency trade execution monitoring and exception management; inventory account management; data analysis and general ledger reconciliation; support for the Anti-Money Laundering Program and suspicious activity investigations; proactive workflow and policy improvements; cross-team collaboration; and clear communication of complex topics to internal and external partners. The role requires flexibility including weekend availability.
Required qualifications: 3+ years in broker-dealer, financial services, or cryptocurrency operations (back-office experience preferred); strong learning orientation; effective teamwork and independent work capability; meticulous attention to detail; problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments; adaptability to regulatory changes; ownership mentality; and proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.
Nice-to-have qualifications include a bachelor's degree, cryptocurrency familiarity (wallets, trading), and SQL/Python programming knowledge.
Compensation includes competitive salary, stock options, health benefits, $500 one-time home-office setup stipend, and $150/month stipend via Brex Card.
