FalconX is a pioneering fintech platform revolutionizing institutional access to cryptocurrency markets. As a Trade Operations Associate, you will be the operational backbone of FalconX's trading infrastructure. Your core responsibilities include managing counterparty settlement requests within agreed timeframes, serving as the primary contact for a portfolio of counterparties, and tracking performance against assigned KPIs.
You will work cross-functionally with the Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless client service delivery. Key operational duties include reconciling trades, transfers, and inventory across internal systems and external partners (banks, custodians); monitoring daily inventory needs for settlement, lending, and borrowing activities; and liaising with Treasury Management on liquidity requirements.
You will also partner with Compliance and Risk teams to design pragmatic controls within the evolving regulatory landscape, ensure adherence to established trade operations processes, and provide timely trade and settlement data to Accounting. A significant portion of your role involves identifying and resolving reconciliation breaks between internal and external systems, improving reconciliation processes, and closing gaps to ensure data integrity and completeness.
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong self-management, multitasking, and prioritization skills. You will gain deep expertise in cryptocurrency trade operations and the institutional trading lifecycle, becoming the go-to expert for trade settlements and operations.
