Anduril Industries is seeking a Test Site Asset Engineer to own the daily operational health of test sites supporting the Air Defense product line. This role is the single point of accountability for keeping all systems fully mission-capable, monitoring status daily, and driving any degradation to resolution. You will maintain systems through hands-on work including hardware swaps, command-line SSH access, system restarts, and troubleshooting to resolve issues with minimal downtime. When issues exceed basic troubleshooting, you coordinate with subject matter experts across product lines and teams to diagnose and fix problems, or arrange hardware replacement through logistics. You communicate technical issues clearly to SMEs, drive cross-team resolution paths, and document solutions for future reference. Key responsibilities include working with engineering to define correct equipment for representative testing, ensuring test site assets remain fully mission-capable across fixed hardware, mobile hardware, and flight assets, and coordinating with site infrastructure to maintain reliable power and network connectivity. You will create sustainment and sparing plans including budgeting and timing, track failure rates, anticipate maintenance windows, and build cost and support models for long-term planning. Additional duties include maintaining lab spaces to high organizational and professional standards, creating processes for labeling and stock tracking, maintaining hazard safety training and processes, organizing and controlling asset and spare inventory, and traveling to test sites and field locations as needed. This role requires 5+ years of professional engineering experience, demonstrated problem-solving at the hardware-software-networking interface, comfort with command-line environments (SSH, Linux), working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, strong communication and coordination skills, familiarity with AC/DC power systems, hands-on fabrication and assembly skills, meticulous attention to detail, experience with Jira or agile tools, and inventory management background. U.S. Person status required due to export control access.
