Sereact is building AI and robotics intelligence that enables robots to sense, reason, and act in real-world industrial environments like warehouses and factories. The Teleoperation Trainer role bridges operations and engineering, responsible for training and quality-managing a team of teleoperation operators while maintaining direct hands-on proficiency with robotic systems.
Key responsibilities include onboarding and training new operators to consistent standards, monitoring operator performance and data quality across active projects, and establishing QA processes and data custody protocols. You will develop and maintain standard operating procedures, training materials, and quality frameworks for teleoperation workflows, plus build the operational systems, trackers, and reporting cadences that support the function.
Critically, you will act as the primary bridge between operations and engineering teams (teleoperation and policy development). This involves surfacing operator feedback, flagging systematic issues, translating engineering guidance into practical instructions, and identifying patterns in operator errors and edge cases. You'll support engineering teams in improving data collection pipelines based on operational insight.
You must maintain direct proficiency across robotic systems and teleoperation interfaces (VR, joystick, control rigs). The role starts hands-on and grows in scope as the company scales.
Required: 2+ years in training, QA, operations coordination, or technical environments; background in structured, process-driven or fast-paced operational settings. Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to assess quality rigorously and coach others, comfort with digital tools and data-driven workflows, and basic technical understanding to engage with engineering teams.
Nice-to-have: direct teleoperation or robotics experience, familiarity with imitation learning, background in competitive gaming/esports or precision controller tasks, data annotation/QA experience, VR systems experience, or startup background.
