Sereact is seeking a Teleoperation Engineer to bridge operations and engineering teams in developing robotic teleoperation systems. This role combines hands-on technical work with team leadership and cross-functional coordination. You will spend significant time directly operating robotic systems via VR, joystick, and control interfaces, maintaining proficiency as a reference standard for task execution and data quality. You'll onboard and train new teleoperation operators, establish consistent standards for task execution and data quality, and develop QA processes and SOPs for teleoperation workflows. You'll monitor operator performance, maintain data custody and tracking systems, and develop training materials and quality frameworks. Critically, you'll act as the primary bridge between the operations team and engineering teams (teleoperation and policy development). You'll surface operator feedback, flag systematic issues, translate engineering guidance into practical operator instructions, identify patterns in operator errors and edge cases, and escalate them with structured context. You'll support engineering teams in improving data collection pipelines and interfaces based on operational insights. You'll maintain accurate logs of training outcomes, data quality metrics, and cross-team feedback, and build the operational systems, trackers, and reporting cadences that enable the function to scale. Required: 2+ years professional experience in training, QA, or technical environments; technical degree preferred (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science); strong communication and documentation skills; ability to assess quality rigorously and coach others; comfort with digital tools and data-driven workflows; basic technical understanding to engage with engineering teams. Nice-to-have: direct teleoperation or robotics experience, familiarity with imitation learning, competitive gaming or esports background, data annotation/QA experience, VR systems experience, startup environment exposure.
