As a Senior IT Engineer on the Secure Engineering team, you will design, build, and own the platforms and configuration that the IT estate runs on with a security-first approach. This is a small, high-ownership team where what you build, the rest of IT operates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Configure and maintain IT systems across the organization, working within core platforms (Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Cloudflare)
- Source and evaluate new tooling, run vendor assessments, manage procurement, and bring in solutions the business needs
- Own the lifecycle of existing vendor contracts—renewal dates, terms, costs, and renegotiation opportunities
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendor account and contract matters
- Work with IT Operations to translate operational needs into system configuration and tooling decisions
- Run projects end-to-end with autonomy, keeping senior management informed where their input adds value
- Participate in IT on-call rotation
- Provide support to IT Operations as needed
You will work in a cloud-native, crypto market-making firm operating across regulated jurisdictions. The role suits someone who can operate independently with minimal senior management input while remaining collaborative with the wider team.
Required: 7+ years in IT engineering or similar technical role, ideally in SaaS-heavy, regulated environments; working knowledge of modern IT stacks in regulated environments (SaaS, identity, endpoint platforms); experience managing vendor relationships and contracts; ability to work autonomously and see projects through; comfort in small, high-ownership teams.
Preferred: experience in financial services or crypto/digital assets; familiarity with Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, or Cloudflare Zero Trust; experience with ITSM/change tooling (JSM or similar).
