Revolut is seeking a Technology Manager to support its local team in Japan. This role bridges technology operations and regulatory compliance, managing projects and cross-team collaboration to ensure technology services meet local regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting large-scale technology transformation and change programmes
- Representing the Technology team in Japan within broader programme teams, taking ownership of assigned tasks and providing strategic input
- Preparing reports and updating stakeholders on progress and status
- Assisting with system incident analysis, reporting, and licensing efforts (particularly banking-related)
- Evaluating initiatives requiring IT changes and assessing impact
- Identifying dependencies, potential risks, and ensuring thorough analysis, testing, and management
- Building and optimizing scalable processes to support Revolut's rapid growth
- Creating and maintaining dashboards to track key metrics and visualize insights
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within Japan's retail banking industry
- Proven experience in analytical roles delivering impactful solutions
- Experience partnering with executive teams and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver results
- Broad understanding of modern technology stacks
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills for analyzing complex information
- Fluency in both English and Japanese
Nice-to-have skills include SQL proficiency, familiarity with Revolut's products, deep understanding of fintech/financial services technology, experience at leading global consulting firms, and experience building or scaling technology functions in financial institutions.
