As a Technical Support Engineer II, you will independently troubleshoot and resolve routine to moderately complex technical issues affecting deployed units in the field. Your primary focus will be maintaining system uptime by diagnosing and resolving connectivity and performance issues across cellular, LAN, and Linux-based systems. You will work remotely and asynchronously with internal teams, partners, and customers to deliver high-quality support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently resolve incidents involving cellular, LAN, or Linux-based systems on deployed units
- Diagnose system issues using log analysis, diagnostic tools, and documented processes
- Make configuration changes to improve system and network performance
- Document troubleshooting steps, diagnosis, and resolution in detail using ServiceNow
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via tickets, chat, or phone
- Provide input to improve standard operating procedures and team documentation
- Collaborate with peers and escalate when appropriate
- Complete one-off technical projects as assigned
You should have technical certification or professional experience in network and Linux systems administration, strong written documentation and communication skills, the ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple active incidents, and strong analytical and technical diagnostic skills.
