CodeRabbit is building AI-powered code review systems that combine language models with human expertise to create next-generation developer tools. As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll be the bridge between our cutting-edge AI technology and our customers—innovative software engineers who depend on our platform. You'll own the full customer support lifecycle: troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, educating customers on best practices to maximize product value, and conducting Zoom sessions to improve their experience and drive adoption. You'll work cross-functionally with customer success, sales, and engineering teams to identify product defects, opportunities for improvement, and scaling opportunities for our support infrastructure. Key responsibilities include debugging and reproducing issues, setting up customer calls, supporting sales and retention motions, testing new features, analyzing customer usage patterns to mitigate risks, and contributing to internal and external knowledge bases. You'll also help shape product direction by synthesizing customer feedback and usage data, working directly with our development team to inspire product improvements. The role requires weekday support with scheduled rotational off-hours coverage. You'll need at least 2 years in technical support, software engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role, with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer obsession. Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with modern ticketing systems are essential. Nice-to-have qualifications include proficiency in a programming or scripting language, familiarity with code review tools and processes, experience with observability and debugging practices (Git, GitHub, CI/CD, VS Code, Cursor), knowledge of customer success and sales methodologies, and a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
