Salary: USD 110,000 - 135,000 / annual
SafeBreach is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support US enterprise customers on its industry-leading exposure validation and continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) platform. You will troubleshoot, replicate, and resolve technical issues for enterprise clients, serving as a technical point of contact for support cases from initial intake through resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues across the SafeBreach exposure validation platform
- Build and maintain customer environments in the support lab to replicate issues and isolate root causes
- File well-documented defects and contribute to root cause analysis
- Own escalations through resolution, partnering with senior engineers and field teams on complex, high-priority cases
- Recommend process improvements based on support patterns and customer feedback
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to internal training and enablement
- Collaborate closely with engineering, technical operations, product management, and quality assurance teams
- Support enterprise customers with clear, timely, and accurate case communication

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years in technical support (Tier 2/3) or similar customer-facing technical role in cybersecurity or SaaS
- Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and familiarity with detection engineering concepts
- Hands-on experience with one or more of: SIEM, EDR, firewalls, threat intelligence platforms, or vulnerability management
- Comfortable troubleshooting across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Methodical troubleshooting approach including log analysis and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, proxies, certificates)
- Experience with case management and ticketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira)
- Experience supporting enterprise customers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Penetration testing, red team, or security consulting background
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Experience in a startup or rapidly scaling company
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+, cloud associate-level certifications, or security vendor certifications
