Constructor is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join its newly formed EMEA support team. You'll be the first full-time support engineer in the region, owning customer-facing technical support conversations across tickets, Slack, and calls for enterprise ecommerce customers.
Constructor is a next-generation search and discovery platform for ecommerce, optimizing for revenue, conversion rate, and profit. The proprietary search engine powers over 1 billion queries daily for major brands including Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco. The company is Series B-funded, founded in 2015, and engineering-focused.
In this role, you'll provide clear, timely technical support on complex issues involving Constructor APIs, SDKs, data integrations, tagging, event instrumentation, and implementation behavior. You'll troubleshoot by reviewing payloads, logs, and API behavior, then guide customers toward resolution. You'll own the full support lifecycle—investigating technical hurdles, communicating progress transparently, coordinating escalations with internal teams, and ensuring customers understand resolutions and next steps.
Key responsibilities include: troubleshooting technical implementation questions; earning trust with technical and business stakeholders through clear communication; reviewing and improving self-service documentation and knowledge bases; identifying patterns in customer tickets and sharing feedback with Product and Engineering; collaborating with customer developers, data teams, Customer Success, Solutions, Product, and Engineering; proactively investigating blockers affecting data ingestion, tagging, and API performance; serving as a subject matter expert on Constructor's technical architecture; and translating customer issues into clear internal context for product teams.
You'll support EMEA customers during regional business hours with strong written communication, ownership, and responsiveness. This is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, high-quality customer communication, and helping scale support systems. You should have a strong technical foundation with hands-on experience working with APIs, SDKs, logs, and data integrations.
