Datadog is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join its Technical Solutions team in Seoul. In this hybrid role (3–5 days in office), you will be the first line of support for Datadog's observability and security platform, serving as an in-house product expert.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Respond to customer technical support requests across multiple channels (ticketing systems, live chat, screen-sharing tools) and provide ongoing education on platform usage
- Reproduce technical issues and develop deep expertise across Datadog's 600+ integrations
- Participate in internal product discussions, bringing customer feedback and insights from support interactions
- Develop advanced knowledge in one or more Datadog product areas
- Support shift work including weekends when needed
You should have a background in computer science/engineering or a coding bootcamp, with active contributions to open-source projects or engineering communities. Programming experience and basic Linux knowledge are required. You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about continuous learning. Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, and a customer-centric mindset are essential.
