As a Technical Success Manager, you will be a highly visible, client-facing consultant responsible for delivering premium services to business-as-usual clients including RIAs, MFOs, enterprises, SFOs, and institutions. You will help clients expand value and accelerate growth after their initial implementation, ensuring they use Addepar's most up-to-date best practices and gold-standard operating models.
Key responsibilities include: architecting and implementing scalable, best-practice solutions for existing Addepar environments; owning and delivering high-value client outcomes aligned with expectations; proactively managing expectations and communication internally and externally; ensuring client retention through high satisfaction; establishing and driving project progress; prioritizing and context-switching across simultaneous projects; communicating project health to senior leadership; partnering with Account Executives and Support Leads to create sustainable business-as-usual models; collaborating with R&D on scalable tools that reduce client reliance on premium services; critically thinking about process improvements as the client base expands; and influencing reductions in project effort through scalable processes and templates.
You will demonstrate deep technical and industry expertise, advising clients directly on complex financial workflows. You must be a creative problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, comfortable navigating ambiguity and roadblocks. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for training and communicating effectively with partners via email, phone, and face-to-face. Occasional client travel may be required.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of professional experience in project management, financial services, or consulting, with prior client-facing experience preferred. You should have outstanding communication, organizational, and time-management skills; understanding of historical data conversion methodologies and different source systems; thoroughness with a focus on continuous improvement; and passion for both technology and finance. Bonus qualifications include experience with investment management software implementations, Python programming/scripting capability, and Databricks or Claude experience.
