UnderGround Weather by AquaSpy is building an intelligence platform for agriculture that measures soil conditions—nitrate, ORP, moisture, salinity, and temperature—across the crop root zone. The company combines proprietary underground sensors with AI-driven analytics to help growers, agronomists, and agricultural retailers optimize nutrient management, irrigation, and crop performance.
The Technical Success Agronomist is a remote role responsible for ensuring customers extract maximum value from the soil intelligence platform. You will serve as the agronomic expert bridging customer needs and product capabilities, translating sensor data and AI insights into actionable field recommendations.
Key responsibilities include onboarding new customers and conducting virtual consultations to understand their agronomic challenges; configuring systems and interpreting soil and crop data (moisture, salinity, nitrate, temperature) to guide nutrient management and irrigation decisions; developing educational materials, training sessions, and webinars tailored to different crops, regions, and farming systems; diagnosing data usage issues and troubleshooting customer problems; collaborating with product, engineering, and sales teams to relay field feedback and drive product improvements; and managing multiple customer accounts to drive adoption and retention.
You will work independently in a remote environment, coordinate with distributed teams, and travel periodically to field sites or industry events. The role requires strong agronomy fundamentals, practical experience in nutrient management and precision agriculture, comfort with agricultural technology platforms and data dashboards, and excellent customer-facing communication skills. A bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or Agricultural Engineering is required. Prior experience in AgTech, agricultural consulting, or technical customer success is valued.
