Graphcore is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager to own procurement and cost services across key projects and programmes. In this role, you will source, negotiate, and expedite electrical commodities and critical components needed for new product introduction (NPI) and production. You will manage purchase orders, supplier performance, BOM costs, and cost reporting while qualifying new suppliers and reducing lead times.
Your work bridges engineering intent with supply chain execution. You will apply technical judgment to sourcing decisions that shape delivery, cost, and supply chain resilience. The role requires confidence managing complex, multi-layer BOMs and working with ERP systems. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders across Bristol and Taiwan to build and maintain Graphcore's manufacturing subcontract supply chain.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical or electronics background with experience sourcing electrical components. You should hold a degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical subject. Advanced knowledge of cost management techniques, purchase price variance tracking, and budgeting in complex environments is essential. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office proficiency are required.
