Salary: USD 140,000 - 170,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building modular data centers ("Spark") to solve the power bottleneck constraining AI compute deployment. The company owns and operates the full stack from energy generation through cloud services.
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Spark modular data center deployments, from site approval through customer availability. This is a high-impact role requiring world-class project execution to meet aggressive 2030 deployment targets. You will manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across one or more concurrent Spark deployments, ensuring they meet or exceed "Available to Customer" dates.
Key responsibilities include:
**Deployment Lifecycle Management:** Create and maintain master project schedules, identifying and managing critical path items. Coordinate site readiness across design, permitting, procurement, and utility interconnection. Proactively identify and mitigate bottlenecks in procurement, construction, networking, and power readiness, always maintaining a backup plan to sustain velocity.
**Cross-Functional Orchestration:** Serve as the central coordinator between Real Estate, Finance, Manufacturing Planning, Cloud Product, Procurement, Site Design, Construction, and the Spark Business Unit. Establish and run weekly team meetings, manage third-party contractor and supplier relationships, and provide high-fidelity executive status updates focused on predictability and critical path items.
**Process Standardization:** Contribute to developing and refining the "Spark Deployment Playbook" to standardize fast, repeatable deployment cadences. Meticulously document lessons learned and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Travel to deployment sites is required approximately 10% of the time.
**Requirements:**
- 6–8+ years managing complex, capital-intensive infrastructure design and construction projects (data centers, energy, advanced manufacturing preferred; distributed generation energy or multi-site repeatable deployment experience is a bonus) with budgets exceeding $100M
- Demonstrated expertise in scheduling software, using schedules as a proactive decision-making tool
- Technical breadth and curiosity to manage engineering requirements across electrical, mechanical, civil, cloud, and network disciplines
- Experience managing and coordinating multiple third-party service providers whose deliverables impact the critical path
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills; ability to adjust communication styles and maintain clarity during ambiguity
- Proven ability to influence without formal authority, using trust, persuasion, diplomacy, and collaboration
- Resilience and proven track record driving projects to completion despite supply chain or technical uncertainty
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred
