You will own the end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise software implementations as a client-facing Technical Project Manager. You'll translate customer needs into executable plans, drive cross-functional teams (solution architects, engineers, QA, stakeholders) to deliver, and maintain alignment from kickoff through go-live and stabilization. This role requires deep product understanding and the ability to engage in technical conversations with architects and engineers, not just coordinate tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning delivery end-to-end: managing scope, timeline, budget, quality, and client satisfaction for enterprise implementation projects
- Building and maintaining project plans: breaking down complex requirements into clear phases, milestones, dependencies, and owners
- Leading requirements gathering: facilitating discovery workshops, documenting requirements in structured formats, managing sign-off, and maintaining traceability
- Running cross-functional teams: coordinating stakeholders, removing blockers, resolving conflicts, and ensuring clarity of ownership
- Owning the client relationship: serving as primary point of contact for status meetings, steering committee updates, and escalations
- Managing scope, risk, and change: preventing scope creep, documenting changes, and proactively managing risks with live mitigation tracking
- Staying technical: understanding architecture and integrations well enough to challenge estimates and speak credibly with engineers; producing clear status reports and feeding lessons learned into methodology
Success is measured by on-time, on-budget, in-scope delivery; trusted client relationships; early risk identification; and clean handoffs to support teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years managing technical or software implementation projects, ideally in enterprise SaaS, professional services, or client-facing delivery environments, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects as the primary delivery owner
- Technical fluency: ability to read solution designs, understand integrations and data flows, and participate credibly in technical discussions
- Proven ability to run requirements and discovery sessions, translate them into clear documented business requirements, and command project management fundamentals (planning, estimation, dependency management, risk/issue tracking, change control)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management: comfort presenting to senior/executive audiences, ability to manage scope and timelines while maintaining relationships
- Organized and calm under pressure; over-communicates; direct when needed, diplomatic when appropriate; owns outcomes rather than processes
- Preferred: earlier technical role (engineering, solution architecture, implementation consulting); experience with configurable enterprise platforms or workflow/automation software; fluency in agile and traditional delivery methodologies; experience in regulated or risk-sensitive domains; PMP, PRINCE2, PSM, or equivalent certification; exposure to AI-assisted or modern delivery tooling
