Salary: USD 115,000 - 222,000 / annual
Applied Intuition is seeking a Technical Program Manager to architect and manage complex engineering projects for customers in the automotive, defense, and industrial sectors. The role bridges internal engineering teams and external customers, requiring deep technical collaboration to implement solutions addressing customer pain points in vehicle development, simulation, and data management.
Key responsibilities include supporting pre-sales activities to identify customer needs, leading RFQ pursuits and creating detailed technical proposals with commercial justification, evaluating project timelines and resource allocation, executing projects as the primary point of contact, and tracking progress against milestones and deliverables. You will continuously engage customers to uncover additional opportunities and provide regular updates to internal teams on customer workflows and gaps in current software solutions.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of industry experience leveraging data or simulation for vehicle development, with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have familiarity with data management and simulation providers in the market, understand their trade-offs, and possess knowledge of current workflows within OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%) is required.
Nice-to-have qualifications include hands-on experience with ADAS/AV or vehicle software validation tools, knowledge of both software and hardware development testing (HPC, real-time test systems), and prior experience managing engineering teams. Applied Intuition operates primarily in-office (5 days/week) from its Sunnyvale headquarters, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments.
