Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

As a Technical Program Manager focused on Mission Autonomy, you will manage new technology development initiatives within both Internal Research and Development (IRAD) and customer-facing program portfolios. The role is diverse in nature, spanning various software technologies, and requires flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive scoping and execution of initiatives that comprise the Mission Autonomy business line
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, other program managers, chief engineers, test and evaluation, business operations, and finance
- Support execution of functional engineering roadmaps aligned with long-term strategic bets and program needs
- Lead execution of early-phase programs won through the capture process, including external customer relationship management
- Work with diverse technical stakeholders, communicate plans clearly to all parties, and coordinate across teams
This is a travel-heavy role with up to 70% travel expected.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited institution
- Technical career background
- Willingness to travel (up to 70%)
- Deep familiarity with subsystems and robotics systems knowledge from previous work experience
- Demonstrated understanding of technical tradeoffs and risk reduction through key development efforts
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills capable of managing multiple initiatives concurrently
- Proven experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, influencing engineering teams, and interacting with leadership stakeholders
- Outstanding communication abilities, adept at conveying complex plans and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS/SCI clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Direct experience leading product development related to Unmanned Vehicle (UxV) development within robotics sectors
- Knowledge of hardware and software development practices and best practices for autonomous robotics systems
- Startup experience with exposure to diverse responsibilities beyond the scope of the job description
