Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Mathematical Software & Algorithms to oversee the development and delivery of Battlespace Awareness software for critical defense programs. This role sits at the intersection of technical depth and program leadership, requiring someone with strong software development expertise—particularly in optimization and estimation algorithms—combined with experience managing complex, multi-team projects across numerous stakeholders. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of advanced algorithms for sense-making and decision-making at tactical timelines. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project execution plans covering feature development, testing, validation, deployment, and monitoring; establishing clear objectives and deliverables aligned with program needs; and maintaining deep technical understanding of underlying algorithms and software interfaces for battle management, threat prediction, tracking, and classification to ensure effective integration with the larger C2 system. The role demands staying current with the latest algorithmic techniques and working closely with subject matter experts to incorporate innovations into the project roadmap. You will oversee comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, user manuals, and project reports, while continuously evaluating and improving project management processes for efficiency. Release management is critical—you will plan and execute software deployment, ensuring all releases meet defined quality standards before going live. This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you bridge engineering teams and military stakeholders, ensuring Battlespace Awareness software is developed on schedule and meets all technical, functional, and business requirements. The ideal candidate combines deep algorithmic and software architecture knowledge with proven program management experience in complex, mission-critical environments.
