Zoox is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Manufacturing to drive vehicle development and production readiness. In this role, you will translate corporate strategy into detailed roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating with engineering, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating top-down strategy and milestones into actionable roadmaps and deliverables
- Interfacing with Engineering and Suppliers to define vehicle and manufacturing validation plans for crash builds and other validation activities
- Leading manufacturing strategy, assessments, and studies across various programs
- Coordinating and executing launch readiness activities and start-of-production milestones
- Supporting vehicle assembly and test operations through cross-functional alignment and roadblock resolution
- Collaborating with Finance, Engineering, Procurement, PMO, and other functions to define and track resource requirements
- Establishing processes, running meetings, and maintaining transparent communication regarding deliverables and risks
- Supporting key decisions through cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and finance
You will work at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and operations, ensuring complex vehicle programs move smoothly from design through production launch.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or MS degree in engineering or management discipline
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing program management
- Experience with industrial manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, robotics, etc.) and integration with related functions (logistics, quality, design engineering)
- Strong track record managing complex cross-functional projects
- Experience coordinating vehicle/manufacturing validation activities (e.g., crash builds) with external partners and suppliers (preferred)

- Ability to keep big picture in focus and provide clear, well-structured communications tailored to different audiences
- Experience in launch and scaling of volume production
